Oh my… I just LOVE babies! Vicky at our office brought her new bundle of joy to the office – Boy oh boy she is a cute little thing.
Now the problem is with all these precious little bundles I GET BROODY! Yes, I AM BROODY!
Well Matthew will have to sit with me now tonight, being all broody! Thank goodness I am sensible enough to know – NOW IS NOT THE RIGHT TIME! I will have to wait it out!

Do you have an I.C.E. card in your wallet???? Get one ASAP! This is so important if you are in any kind of emergency. Anyone that needs to assist you will have the most information right on hand. Also save your next of kins as ICE on your cell phones. It will be there for IN CASE of EMERGENCY!

I just read an article about a famous business man in South Africa spending a cool R700,000.00 for his 40th birthday party! That is an insane amount of money to be spent – WHY WHY WHY??? Who are these people trying to impress?? I think it’s shocking – That is what people pay for a brand new house in Johannesburg! But I guess if you have the money to spend – why keep in right???
So I guess ill just grin and say “HAPPY BDAY” I hope the waiters got their 10% tip?? Maybe I should get back into waitressing?? Hehehe

These are some of the children that live in NKOSI VILLAGE - a non-profit organisation that assists people with homes, food and getting back on their feet. I love these kids as they have such a grateful outlook on life. They are the future!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE – I DARE YOU TO SHOW YOU CARE!
1. MY FAMILY – I have been so blessed with an amazing group of people. They know me and have guided me gently through this crazy journey of life. They have always supported EVERYTHING I do. I am truly blessed with each and everyone of them! MOM, DAD AND NADINE – YOU ARE THE BEST I COULD HAVE EVER ASKED FOR!
2. MY LIFE – I have been up and down, but more up than down. So grateful to have had lows - as I have always grown and had the support from friends and family.
3. MATTHEW – Yes, he is part of my life and family, but if it wasn’t for this amazing person I would have never been able to be so happy! Thank you for always supporting me and being my NO. 1 MAN! Love you with all my heart!
4. FRIENDS – Who would have thought that I would have so many amazing friends. Even though I might not see everyone you are in my hearts. I also have friends that are angels on earth and in heaven – I AM BLESSED!
5. LOVE – I have experienced love on so many levels – I am thankful that I have learnt that there is True Love out there. That one can not live without love, that one is empty without it and that my life is filled with it! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
6. WORK / JOB – I never know how thankful I was for a work/job till I didn’t have one. This was and still is a scary thought. But a job and working fills me with happiness. I love knowing that I contribute to a bigger picture, that I can make a difference!
7. ABILITY – The ability to do so much and GIVE BACK! The joy of giving is truly a blessing.
Oh my word they are finally coming to South Africa for a show!
I just can’t wait! But as my luck has it I cant get to the shops in the morning – I have to give extra lessons in the morning! Holding thumbs that mom is one of the many thousands that will get up early to get tickets. MOM YOU ROCK! Can not wait to do this concert with U2!
My mom is the best – we will be rocking out at 30STM this November and next year U2 – LOVE IT! Could not have asked for a better mom.
When something good happens, We drink to celebrate!

But when nothing happens, we drink so that something will happen!

How I love beer festivals!
I think there is some German in me – because as soon as I heard BEER FEST I wanted to be there.
Knowing that it was not the best time of the month (money wise), but FREE BEER is still FREE!
So I gathered the boys and Nicola – off we went for some fun!
The beer was terrible, so instead of complaining I got some lemonade and made Beer ShandysYUMS!
Now that is how I am going to do Beer Fest from now on – Pros TASTE BETTER – LESS BLOATED! Cons DOESN’T HAVE THE SAME EFFECT – DRINK TOO MUCH hahaha
LIFE IS LIFE AND LOVING EVERY MOMENT OF IT!

Sunday was a pretty unique date, being the 10th of the 10th on 2010.
Nothing special happened, except Johannesburg finally had its first mini-storm for the summer.
We usually have strong winds, hail and rain – so was exciting!
SUMMER IS NOW HERE!
