MIDRAND - Ryk Neethling
So while waiting for the Guatrain on 10 July 2012 Charles Ellis-Banks and Charmiane Buttrick spotted Olympic Swimmer Ryk Neethling at Marlboro Station.
They seemed to have been a little star-struck and didn’t get a photo with him, but Charmaine snapped this one on her phone.

Beautiful New Year
On Saturday 07 January 2011, while enjoying the view outside I spotted a butterfly on the bench. I ran inside to get a picture, I love butterflies and often miss a chance to get a good picture of them.
Just as the picture was snapped the butterfly flew off, flying a little “rickety” off into the distance.
Only when I checked the picture did I realise there was a cocoon, so I had missed the emerging from by a minute :(
But I am tacking it as a sign of a BEAUTIFUL NEW YEAR!

RIP GRANDPA
Can’t believe my last post was about my Grandpa and just 6 days later I would say Goodbye Forever.
My heart was telling me to take some time off work and be with my Grandpa, little did I know I would be there the day he died.
Grandpa my heart misses you so much and I cannot comprehend a life without you in it. You were always there when I needed you, day or night. You always listened and tried gave good advice. You always made me feel so special and loved. You always said goodbye like it would be your last. You always gave the best hugs.
I will forever treasure the special time I shared with you on your last days. I LOVE YOU!
CANCER IS SO LIMITED... It cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot corrode faith, it cannot eat away peace, it cannot destroy confidence, it cannot kill friendship, it cannot silence courage and it cannot quench the human spirit.
