Ass-icons

We all know those cute little computer symbols called "emoticons," where:
:) means a smile and
:( is a frown.

Well, how about some "ASSICONS?"
Here goes:

(_!_) a regular ass
(__!__) a fat ass
(!) a tight ass
(_*_) a sore ass
{_!_} a swishy ass
(_O_) an ass that's been around
(_x_) kiss my ass
(_X_) leave my ass alone
(_zzz_) a tired ass
(_E=mc2_) a smart ass
(_$_) Money coming out of his ass
(_?_) Dumb Ass

You have just been e-mooned! And bless some people that are laughing their ass off  (_ :-) _).

Runny noses

Its finally the season…

RUNNY NOSES!

I think I might battle this winter again with the snotty nose syndrome, but will live!

Just need to fill up the cupboard with the CupOfSoup and tissues!

Tonite = DvD NiGhT :0)

So finally BORAT is available at the DVD Store (yes yes I know)

But I really want to see what it is all about!

You know you need to see the good the bad and the ugly to be really objective will let you know what I thin tomo

I wonder if this gent realizes the irony in his name?

Hi

WILD HOGS

Last night Matthew and I headed off to the movies.

It was jammed packed, guess it’s school holidays again!

Story is about 4 middle-aged men who meet weekly for there bike rides and go to a “biker bar” but their lives are boring… they not living their LIVES!

So they all go on this week away bike ride, lets just say it’s a adventure! Adventure involving camping and not even getting that right, meeting up with a gay cop that stalks them, getting into trouble with a bad ass bunch of bikers and being hero’s to a small town…

MY RATING **** (4 Stars)

IT’S A MUST SEE FEEL GOOD MOVIE!

Has everyone clapping after the movie and you whipped the tears of laughing off your face.

Ever had that feeling...

… that something is going to happen….

That nervous, butterfly effect in your tummy?

I have been feeling like it for the past 2 days…

Can’t sleep… trying to think what it is…Kinda scary….

The Wedding Shower - Rediscovered!

Is it just me or have wedding registries taken all the fun out of buying a gift for a wedding? You go to a store, whether in-person or online, and you buy exactly what the bride and groom have requested. The problem is that there is no creativity in this gesture, no individuality, no personal touch!

Today’s wedding showers have become much more interesting and functional than their more traditional predecessors. The format of yesterday, a ladies-only gathering with an endless supply of lace doilies and cucumber sandwiches, pales in comparison to what the shower can and should be for today’s couples! Consider for a moment….a “Build Your Cellar Party!” I held a wedding shower for one of my best friends Nate, and called it a “Cellar Building Party.” In lieu of a gift, each person brought a bottle of their favorite wine, along with a note detailing suggestions for enjoyment. The contributions ranged from a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne with a note that read…. “To be opened at your 1 year anniversary” to a bottle of Boone’s Farm that read “In case of emergency, break and serve immediately…like during your first fight!” Some of the bottles had deep significance, and others were simply a lot of fun!

By the end of the party, Nate and Stacy had 75 bottles of wine, which represented 75 unique memories! At the very least, they had enough wine to get them through that potentially challenging post-honeymoon phase! And that, my friends, is my kind of party!

I invite you to share your stories. How has the celebration of wine factored into your wedding plans? I'm looking forward to reading all of your comments.

Cheers!
Andrew Firestone

Nice idea I think too, Im putting this on my wedding list one day :0)

A Million Little Pieces - James Frey

So finally finished my book and it was gripping and a good hard read.

It took me to the scary depths of addiction and what actually happens in Rehad. So while reading I knew in the back of my mind that it is all a lie, yes its true that the book is not 100% accurate and the debate rages on regarding it. I thought the book was good, with or without the fact that it is a true story. I think it is good and will recommend it to people. It is the first book my sister read NON STOP. And to tell you the truth I found it hard to actually put it down! So im back in the reading of books and happy! So next I have one of my mom’s book ITS ME ANNA by Elbie Lötter and a book Nadine was reading GIRL WITH A ONE TRACK MIND (also a very controversial book) so when they done will give you feedback on them too :0)

We should definitely start reading MORE!

So go out and buy a BOOK TODAY!

Nice weekend!

Had such a nice chilled weekend…

Friday got home pretty tired and chilled with Nando’s and TV.

Nando’s was a experience in itself for Matthew, as they were handing out Vodka shots.

So he had a shot with a granny while waiting for his take away order.

Yes yes yes, this Nando’s gives out free shots to clients :0)! I remember when Richard and I used to go last year in winter, we always got offered Sherry!

Mmmmmm well yeah guess it keeps clients coming back?

Saturday slept in, a well deserved sleep in as the week was hectic!

We later got DVD’s, The Break-Up (not really the best movie, do not recommend it, would rather have gotten skop-skiet-en-donner).

Spoilt Matthew with McDonalds (Yes he LOVES McD hehehehe)

Then headed off to Monte Casino and had Spur!

We met up with Matthew’s friends and decided that we would be partying in Centurion!

So off we went to STONES in Centurion, this is definitely the BIGGEST AND BEST of all the Stones!

It was fun and was nice to let my hair down, relax and have a designated driver!

Sunday slept in and had WIMPY for breakfast (YES THIS WHOLE WEEKEND I DID NOT COOK!)

Chilled and watched a lil DSTV :0)

Off to home, we napped, finished my book and started new book, then cooked the yummiest PASTA.

Was a really nice weekend!

Look forward to next weekend… LOUIS 21st WhoHoOoOoOoOo!

4 months and 1 sleep!

Only 4 months and 1 sleep left till me and my mommy fly to the UK for our holiday!

IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!

Finally sent my passport thru to Dionne, so she can book our Visa’s for Dubai and France!

Kinda nervouse and excited at the same time…

We are finally doing it!

Just needed to blog it!

This guy can not drive! And in a matter of 10 min stuck in rush hour, “bumper to bumber” traffic, he skipped a red light, overtook, driving on the pavement, nearly hitting one man, racing off in the gap and almost hit two ladies walking across the street!

To him I want to say….

TAKE A CHILL PILL OLD MAN! SPEED KILLS!

If you...

If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

If you plant goodness, you will reap friends

If you plant humility, you will reap greatness

If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective

If you plant hard work, you will reap success

If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation

If you plant faith in Christ, you will reap a harvest

So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later.

Wish it upon NO ONE!

I have been not 100% since Thursday, but it is getting better!

Thanks to everyone that was concerned

Was nice to know some people still care! :)

LOVE = Kids inncocent love

I was lucky enough to see Kayla and Connor this weekend.

(These are the cutest kids in the world, that o baby-sit every now and again)

Well on Friday I got word from my Doctor that I have Tick bite Fever, not ideal considering I hate being sick!

So I was not feeling too great and really wanted to cancel the babysitting, but I had promised Laura-Anne, and I know I would hate it if my babysitter cancelled.

So I mailed her and let her know that I was not feeling too great, but was willing to still baby-sit.

She was soooooooo accommodating…

Made sure the kids knew I was not feeling great and Connor was in bed and sleeping away.

Kayla aged 7, was so sweet.

Gave me flowers, made me tea (just the way I like it), brought me biscuits and invented a silent laugh.

YES A SILENT LAUGH (this is the laugh that won’t make my headache worse)

She tugged me in and read me a bed time story…

HOW SWEET!

THANKS KAYLA U ARE MY NUMBER 1! :)

:0( .... :0)

Today is really one of those sad… disappointed…happy… excited days?

I’m sad that my sister is leaving…

Disappointed that we did not “hang out” enough…

She is leaving tonight to return to the UK.

Bye bye lil lady see you soon… LOVE YOU LOTS!

And then on the other side…

I’m happy as Matthew is coming to visit…

Excited about our weekend together camping and just “hanging out.”

Sad... sad... sad...

This weekend… another young life lost…

Judd… you will be missed…

The smile, the giggles, the partying…

I have one happy thought… you had fun before you passed… you had people around that loved you when it happened…  you are young with no regrets… you really lived life!

It never eases the pain…

Or silences the screams of loss…

Just know you will be in our hearts, minds and dream always…

Happy and loving life!

We will miss you always…
