Dear Diary…
BLAH BLAH BLAH…
4 Sleeps to my holiday and can hardy contain myself! I’m so excited and after the day I have had, I have realized how important a HOLIDAY is to ones sole! :)
I am going to chill-lax on the coast and not miss anyone from work (except Mills and maybe V) I am gonna party again like im 18!

Well San and I had sucha fab weekend and so cool that we have so many things alinke! She is also coming down to the coast! SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! She is going to have so much fun, and love it when my lil friends have fun!

Anywoo leaving my lil plants alone this holiday and actually worried about them, hope they survive hehehehe but I guess if they have survived with me, they will survive EVERYTHING!

Oh well not much to report on…
Moved offices, was drama but got it done!
Can not wait to chill at my new desk next year!

Yesterday i was shopping at Fourways Crossing and Ruby was parked next to us, later off to Fourways Mall and when i got out the mall Ruby was parked next to Herbie, later the evening popped into Pick and Pay and Ruby WAS THERE AGAIN! :)
i think its pretty cool :)

I had such a lovely weekend with friends, its strange how you will always stay connected with people, I mean San (San-Mari) and I have not been in contact for long periods of high school, but when we hung out this weekend, I realized that we are both still the same. We have grown up allot since primary school, but still the same!

What a lovely weekend…

Friday was busy busy eve got to see Josh and Jordan and they are doing well, both passed this year! WELL DONE! So proud of you two! They are the sweetest lil kids, they on holiday now… lucky dumbs!
Crawled into bed in the weeeeeeee hours of the morning!
Saturday up nice and early and hit the mall, the banks were packed! Really packed!
So could not do what I wanted… anywoo bought a few gifts and wrapped it all up!
Chilled and made the yummiest sausage rolls… left and fetched San in Pretoria :) was nice driving to Edenvale we chatted.
We arrived at the party and wanted to get a few drinks… so missioned a lil in Edenvale to find a place to buy drinks!
FINALLY SPAR was still open! SPAR IS SO GOOD FOR YOU hehehehe :)
We headed back to the party and fun! Us Afrikaans girls stuck together… we all got gift aswell and was cool! (GOT MY BOOK YEAH YEAH YEAH!)
We partied with everyone and Sean took us out to Stones… everything closes at like 2 am in the EAST :)
Well we got to James and Dione house and watched a lil tv…
Sunday had the bestest breakfast WE FOUND CRÈME SODA!
Dropped San off in PTA and headed back to JHB… chilled at home and chilled with Cari in the early eve.

SO ONLY 7 SLEEPS THEN IM ON THE COAST YEAH YEAH YEAH!
Sooooooooooooooooooooo excited!
Can not wait anymore actually, but only 7 sleeps hopefully it flies by!

A black skinny guy, dressed in a Santa costume and LUMO GREEN socks.
Nadine yelles out to my mom, "MOM THAT IS NOT THE REAL SANTA", so my mom looked at her and askd "Nadine'tjie hoekom se jy so?" (Sorry for my English friends "Nadien why do you say that?")
Nadine said with clear confiction "Mom he has the WRONG socks on!"

Good Afternoon…

So been a full day and no blogging (sounds like I’m addicted)
Have not been busy at the office or anything, Melissa is out of the office, Ross and I have been battling with a CV all day!
I have had first choclate and Matthew is emailing me a lil… this is the only mail I am getting… very sad considering that my mail box fills up so quickly :(
But not going to complain as MURPHY’s LAW will send me in tears with all my emails being WORK RELATED! :(

So last night slept like a babe, except for the dreams with Nadine chasing me around with snakes and frogs hehehe
Miss her so much but just over a month to go and she is here! Yeah yeah yeah!

So the holiday is getting closer and closer… I can almost smell the sea!
I hope I get to see everyone before I leave… and that is if I leave… back to square one in finding a lift :(
At least we know my life is never dull or boring always a adventure or something happening!

It’s allot like MINISTRY OF SOUND with regard top tracks and beat etc but they do more of specialized Cd’s, like funky house range, deep house, trance, soul, chill etc and that is awesome when you want a certain type of music for a certain day… I love my house music, but can-not really listen to it while eating dinner? So rather listen to the sould and chill Cd and is perfect to set the mood...

SOUL CANDI I bought about 2 months ago, really getting into it now, the bonus is these Cd packs normally contain 2 or 3 Cd’s so value for money!

I know im hinting away but no one is buying these Cd’s for xmas :(…

*Ooooo my Cape Town trip with the Book family (earlier this year) was soooooooooooo awesome finally seeing the MOUNTAIN! I could not stop staring at it, I was like a lil kid :) (oh yeah and the food was yummy yummy yummy)

*COCO MO… Love that song… well I think I must have been seven years old, we were still in the big house in Umtentweni. Mom and dad’s friends from Bloemfontein’s kids came to camp in our garden for their matric holiday… Nadine was soooooooooooooooo inlove with Chris I think his name was and I had my eye on another boy (note these were only CRUSHes cos we were sooooooo small)… Remember the one night the boys sang us COCOMO so we would go to bed and sleep! We might have irrated them soo much but will always remember it!

NO WATER!

What a weekend!
Well Friday was chilled at home, Althea was out, but Matthew kept me entertained with feedback from the party they were at!
Saturday I had a quick shower, then realized when I wanted to brush my teeth there was NO WATER! I was so cross! Anyway it was ok, I left for my shopping and met up with James, we chatted a lil bit and got my Secret Santa gift, so glad he could give me a “manly opinion” then both headed our separate ways.
Chilled the rest of the day was nice and got my nap in, babysat Kayla, Connor and Courtney, got to bed in the weeeeeeeeeee hours of Sunday morning, slept like a baby!
Sunday was rudely awaken by my neighbors playing some rap track, I was fuming! Called mom for her birthday and had a quick shower, after 10 am the water was off again!
NOW I WAS GETTING IRRITADED! Cos no water, means no dishes can be washed, no nice cold water, no quick shower… it was horrid. But I do realize now how much we are dependant on water, I watched a doccie as well about water yesterday, I am so thankful for water electricity etc etc etc! Hopefully we will have water again! HOLD THUMBS!
Monday back at the office, no water at home still :(

So its 23h55 and i can not sleep, i should have been clubbing!
Oh well! :( Fred is working at Groove Bar in Midrand, maybe next week will pop over there and visit with San, as i will be seeing her on Saturday in any case?

Friday Night

So here i am... home alone on a FRIDAY night...
Ok ok ok dnt feel sorry for me...
I had invitations to go out, Dale, Deon, Fred and more, but just been so busy this week and lack of energy not really helping the situation!
But i must really STOP moaning! hehehehe :)

So been battling with Vodacom to activate my bloody 3G Card and now finally at 9 pm it is done (waited 5 days) so im blogging from Althea's Laptop sitting on coach, big cup of milo and playing my music so loud, hope the neighbours dnt mind!

So now i have realised how small the world is once again!
Matthew is out with the boys on the coast, (ok the coast is really small but bare with me), he was introduced to this girl, form my school and she asked "are you Claudette's bf" and gave him a lil look. He is confused! When i called to moan about Vodacom he tells me about it... and its ELSJE FOURIE, one of my BEST FRIENDS (izette) sister!

He has been jolling with my friends, that i have known for years, the past 2 years, very funny and i get all the latest gossip from him!

So here I am sitting at work, typing away…
I have come to the realization I am a cool calm cat!
I mean there are things that get me fuming, but I’m a slow pressure cooker,. I keep allot of things in, I ponder and deal with it on my own, in my own time, no need to have the whole family, all my friends or even work colleagues involved!
But there are soooooooo many people who FREAK out, over the most silliest things!
(eg. A friend I know, every time I speak to her, I use the wrong tone of voice! Ok ok im cool calm and collected? I am confused, I thought I was diplomatic and spoke in a calm voice? I have consciously thought about what I was going to say and how, yet I never get it right)
I really truly and honestly hate it!
I REALLY HATE IT!
It is so silly and unnecessary! TAKE A CHILL PILL for goodness sake!
(Sorry needed to vent)

I am so thankful for who I am, I am not perfect, but I regard myself to be a pretty cool person. I mean I have a awesome amount of friends and family who love me to bits and I LOVE THEM! :)

Today

Today is a sad day…
I sent my mom flowers for her birthday (her birthday being on Sunday) and realized I really wish I could be there…
Eventho its only 18 sleeps till I see her, I feel sad, I love my mom soooooo much and these special days really get to me. Has to step outside a bit for fresh air and a hug!
Nadine, mom, dad and so many special people are so far away and when there is a birthday, anniversary, birth death etc. It is really hard to be so far away! I get so sad… :( I wish I could be with all my friends and family all the time, “ek is seker nog baie mamma-vas”, I dink think ill make the UK move… but at least that is a few years away! WILL NOT DO IT JUST YET MOM PROMISE!

*Mom, dad, Nadine, me and friends trekked thru to Lesotho to see 2000 NEW YEARS in, was scary trip, back of the landy, mom and me where screaming all the way hehehehe. When we finally reached the summit, the Highest Pub in Africa, we realized… IT WAS FREEZING! We were dressed in baggies and T’s, was the coldest New Years EVER! (thanks mom and dad for the adventure)
