Matthew is working there this holiday, so i did some more investigation (as per usual) i was suprised at all the cool content on the www.VODACOM4ME.co.za site, its easy to register and there is free sms's, free mms's, horoscopes, lotto, email etc etc I have been using the site for about 2/3 years since i joined Vodacom and LOVE IT! :)

Motovation!
I get my normal motovation crap in the morning from a friend in the office, but today she sent brilliant ones that cracked me up!

Memories
*Hluhluwe holiday with folks, we met the Germans, they loves our POWERFULL MUSIC! Every time I hear Bump 5, it’s a fine day etc I think of us on the back of the landy and the white untouched beaches of St Lucia.
*Cari (my ex flatmate now a friend) and myself came home after a long day of work, im sure we had MAN ISSUES again, we opened our bottle of wine and sipped it slowly… We opened another bottle and ended up calling the men that gave us issues and was a eventfull evening! Me on the kitchen counter, making chips and fish-fingers (so we could eat) hehehe was good, I faded as usual and slept like a baby! Remember the next day Cari saying “I hate you and your wine” hehehehe (very evil laugh)

Full circle
In the beginning of the year had the realization that the “dream” I was living was actually a nightmare… when I woke up (finally) I had the courage, guts and pride to admit I made a mistake and walked away from the life I built… It was so scary but I had such a amazing group of people behind me, family and friends that I will never be able to repay!
Now I look at all the drama that unraveled… the things I faced and over came it all, all with the help of friends! I am now so much stronger and not scared anymore! I can deal with anything and my mind is broader and wiser hehehe!
So now im blabbing on and on, but my point is…
All this happened for a reason and I have realized a few days ago what it is…
I need to appreciate the special people in my life more, the super people that would do anything for me, support me, love me, dnt wanna change me etc etc!
I have been thru all the drama and I CAN HELP others…
a friend from primary school days is going thru the whole drama now, and for some reason our paths crossed again, we have gone thru similar experiences, I’m finding out day by day, I’m trying to be the best friend possible in this case.
IM ON YOUR SIDE, be strong, I just hope I can help you as my friends helped me etc.
So my conclusion is that what I appreciated the most, all the support, is the reason it all happened, so I could support someone and my life will come a full circle.
*NB! I AM HERE FOR YOU ALWAYS MY FRIEND, LOVE YOU!

*Nadine, mom, dad, myself went camping with the BOYS (Dale, Ivan and Brian) at THE OLD PONT, was over new years, we kicked the boys butts on the tubes and was awesome! What I remember the best was Nadine and Myself having our very own MUD BATH, was fun, think the boys where shocked that we loved it, every bit of it, we didn’t mind the mud at all “its good for the skin doll” hehehehehe
What a lovely evening…
I headed off home and changed, rushed to the Hockey and saw Dale and the boys, waited around for Tracy.
We chatted the whole game thru, did not watch a minute of the match hehehehe :)
We stayed for a few drinks and caught up on all the good times!
Talked about my party and seems all the KOSTERS will be in town for my party yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!

22nd DEC PARTY!
Yeah yeah yeah mom and dad have FINALLY agreed that I can have my HOUSEPARTY on the 22nd December, HOPE YOU ALL READY!

So im on this journey trying to capture magical moments in my life! Older people go out and try and find their youth where I am on a mission and a half!
All started when Geoff couldn’t remember that I went to see Hoodwinked with him, only a few weeks ago. He reminded me of that shower incident we had (he was showering and while he was washing his hair, I turned off the cold water and he got burnt OUCH! *Sorry) and I forgot about it! So making a lil note book of all these things that I should remember.
So every now and again I’m going to reminisce of a event and just try and capture these memories on the blog! So bare with me, but could remind a few people of the funny adventures we had and the silly things I said!
*Matric Holiday back in 2003, we were in Durban @ Durban Spa, we must have been on the 14th floor and I was for some reason I was super paranoid about someone breaking in thru the window (WE WERE IN THE 14TH FLOOR) then my reason’s changed to paranoid about monkeys getting into the flat hehehehe :) Ellen, Izette and Marlize where in stitches laughing at me (blush)

So confession time!
Friday was off to the work function, dressed up to the nines! Was awesome food, good company and was fun!
Seemed like everyone had fun and clients happy and merry :)
Most of your clients left as we moved to outside etc. Carmen, Catherine and myself joined the Energizer team at their table, I had my 2 JagerBombs (needed to get on their level for some reason) I chatted with the main pikkewyne, Financial Director, CEO etc and apparently was very funny and doing my DJ move (this is my unflattering left arm over head covering right ear, while mixing the desk with my right hand)
I was very funny with all my lil chirps etc, then the JB hit AND IT HIT HARD!
I made a sweet lady-like exit to the ladies to catch some air, I came back and really wanted to go home, wasn’t feeling tooo sober… but I could not drive, chilled with the girls and then hear the angel’s voice “HEY SCETCH” it was Vanessa (my mom from work) I smiled and looked at her and she offered to take me home!
I am a lil fuzzy about the rest but know that I knew my license plate number, my id number, could direct Vanessa to my house, walk up my stairs (without my shoes), could lock the door. As soon as I locked the door it was a dash to the loo where I kinda dint make it, ran with my shoulder in the wall EINA! Im my state I wasn’t happy at this state and my BED WAS CALLING ME! I washed my face, popped into a very quick and cold shower, brushed teeth and got into pj’s.
I was in bed VERY EARLY there was still light outside!
Had a restless sleep, but woke up around 00h30 and thought it was 21h30 and started smsing EVERYONE! (Silly bean)
Saturday was up nice and early and panado, big breakfast and CREAM SODA was the order of the day!
Was alive again and trying to piece the puzzle together. (All the info above is what I could remember)
Went to the office to collect jacket and smsed Carmen, Catherine and Vanessa to say THANK YOU! YOU GIRLS ARE THE BEST!
Chilled, visited Geoff (thank friend was fun) and shopped most of the weekend!
Would have been Eldan’s 21st on Saturday so had a toast on you my friend! RIP.
Word around the water cooler this morning was that I am allot of fun and was not hitting on any men and a REAL LADY! *sigh of relieve*

Last night…
Came home after work and stuck in bloody traffic, hate it hate it hate it!
So went home and changed into more comphy cloths and headed off to pick up Pieter Van Heerden, we played a lil bit of pool and had drinks, Althea finally joined us and we went on the hunt to find a JOL!
Tinza looked nice but quite not the vibe we wanted, RUBY BLUE had a band but too chilled, Mint was closed, Aruba Lounge was chilled, Cantina Tequila DEAD (we were the only people there)… so we had to really think hard… DUH BILLY THE B.U.M.B.S. it is the only happening place on a Thursday!
We had a good time, yes yes its not quite HATFIELD but it was fun!

So went home and changed into more comphy cloths and headed off to pick up Pieter Van Heerden, we played a lil bit of pool and had drinks, Althea finally joined us and we went on the hunt to find a JOL!
Tinza looked nice but quite not the vibe we wanted, RUBY BLUE had a band but too chilled, Mint was closed, Aruba Lounge was chilled, Cantina Tequila DEAD (we were the only people there)… so we had to really think hard… DUH BILLY THE B.U.M.B.S. it is the only happening place on a Thursday!
We had a good time, yes yes its not quite HATFIELD but it was fun!

Only hour and a half
Only hour and a half to home time!
So now I'm feeling much better, day is going quickly and Wednesday almost over!
Got paid nice and early this month so going to get myself a nice top for Friday's work function, that we having at MY GRILL MY BAR, I am wearing a suit (we have to) and actually looking forward to the good food, good wine and good company!
Sounds like the girls might make it a GIRLS NITE after the function, going to be fun! Looking forward to letting my hair down and relax a lil, might have to find myself a designated driver hehehehe :)

So Matthew Vancoillie is fetching me from the airport (so mom you can relax) and stood in long queues the last 2 days to get his Temp License so I would stop moaning!

Also sounds like noting much has changed regarding the South Coast’s days to party etc.
Monday chill at home, Tuesday movie, panarotis and keg, Wednesday mardi gras, johny rocket and backline, Thursday keg and backline, Friday braai at club, cock 'n tail, BACKLINE, Saturday recover but start again at the club, Back Stage etc... Sunday will be my day of rest! MOM Hope you ready to look after me! (promise I will behave)

Then the sweetest friend in the whole wide world (Melissa or rather MILLY) gives me a lil hug and starts to cry too, you realize that you are truly blessed!
She is the sweetest most genuine and honest person I know! She has done so much for me in the past year and a half I dnt think I will ever be able to repay her!

So this weekend was a busy one and a chilled one at the same time!
Friday was chilled at office with everyone being out and actually got allot of work done! Then headed off to Kayla’s 7th Birthday Party. The theme was MAKE OVER / SLEEP OVER and had fun with the girls, never knew lil girls could stay up so late and play all day :)
Saturday really chilled at home and slept in for a lil, went shopping and bought myself a few things for summer, dresses going to look so fab whn I get to wear them on the coast!
Sunday thought I was going to have a chilled day and ended up heading off to the cricket… never even made the stadium with the rain but had a good time anyway with Cari! (Thanks doll was dreading spending another day at home)
So my chilled month is soon coming to an end, this weekend is our work Year End function at MY GRILL MY BAR (Top restaurant in JHB) and looking forward to mingling with all the clients etc.
Anywoo better get cracking going to be a hectic day again as we are short staffed :(

The first kid leans over and asks, "What are you in here for?"
The second kid says, "I'm in here to get my tonsils out and I'm a little
nervous." The first kid says, "You've got nothing to worry about. I had
that done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake up
they give you lots of Jell-O and ice-cream. It's a breeze."
The second kid then asks, "What are you here for?"
The first kid says, "A circumcision."
And the second kid says, "Whoa, Good luck, buddy, I had that done when I
was born... Couldn't walk for a year"

I feel it’s a good place to vent my feelings etc, but I am so careful in a sense as I know most of my friends check it out often and wouldn’t want them to think im totally lost it hehehehe :)
But ya it’s a journey my lil life and want to save it somewhere for people to read etc…
Last night…Last night was one of those weird nights… I got home late as I was finishing up a lil work and didn’t feel like going to home early as I knew Althea wouldn’t be home.
Got home and Althea was there, was nice surprise and we chatted a bit about KIDS, weird but this weekend we both were babysitting etc
I chatted on MXit with a few friends and Matthew, I was teased by my cousin that she is on holiday in 3 days! Matt was offish but I guess he really did not want to chat with me :( Matthew on the other hand cheered me up completely!
I also watched Special Assignment about the SILENT CRIES regarding abortion by teenage girls, I was a little shocked and disturbed… I missed that video in Biology class for some reason. For the first time in my life I saw a insight in it all, it wasn’t graphic or anything but was just soooooooooooo scary.
As a woman I have thought about this too, not that I was in the same boat as those girls, but was thinking what would I one day do if I was pregnant and it wasn’t planned, or the baby was deformed, complications etc etc. I obviously thought abortion would be a option… I feel differently now… I just wish people would value life a lil more… I have not judged people who have done it but now I see it differently…
So finally fell asleep just after 10 pm but I really felt restless, like something was happening…
And woke up like at 2 am looking for Kayla… very weird (Kayla is the girl I babysat) I felt nervous and scared but calmed myself down and went back to bed. I dreamt about kids the whole night very scary… as I have never dreamt about kids, but it was caused by watching the Special Assignment story.
So didn’t sleep that well and back at the office, I was excited to come to work today as I had such a good feeling about something!
Melissa nearly tackled me to tell me something… “the good news” her neighbor (brides maid at her wedding) is finally fallen pregnant! WELL DONE AND CONGRATS GAVIN AND CLAIRE wow that is soooooooooooo awesome it seems that all my dreams where all maybe a sign?
I do believe in signs etc I think we mostly ignore them as it is not what we want to believe…
So all well that ends well
A lil bundle of joy will be joining the family in July 2007 sooooo exciting and will be able to enjoy this journey…
San has gotten her flat mate to blog as well :) I was telling her I feel less nerdy as I know normal people are doing it as well!

THE LITTLE BOY
A little boy wanted to know what it was like to have R1,000. His mother told him to pray to God for it. He prayed for two weeks but nothing turned up. Then he decided perhaps he should write God a letter requesting the R1,000.
When the post office received the letter addressed to God, they opened it and decided to send it to President Mbeki. The President was so impressed, touched and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy R20. He thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
The little boy was delighted with the R20 and sat down to write a thank-you letter, which read as follows; "Dear God: Thank you very much for sending me the money. I noticed that you had to send it through the government. As usual, those thieves deducted R980 for tax."
